GRASS RAISED, CORN FINISHED BEEF
Our beef are primarily Angus genetics, raised in grass pastures on our ranches to provide a firm foundation for healthy growth. When they are old enough to be weaned off of their mothers, they are transferred to our farm land where we have planted primarily hard red winter wheat with rye grass fields. They will stay there until they reach 700-900 pounds. At that point they are transferred to a finishing yard to gain another 500-700 pounds on a corn-based diet that will allow them to achieve the marbling and tenderness that consumers expect from farm raised beef.
A huge benefit to our operation is that we can control the length of time at processing the sides of beef are "aged" before being cut into individual steaks. This process allows the beef time to become more tender and achieve the added flavor of farm to table beef. Where the meat you buy in the store likely were given only a few days from processing until arriving at the store, our beef will be aged from 21 to as much as 35 days depending on the individual beef. This beef is worth the wait!
We offer all cuts of beef as individual steaks as well as larger roasts, ribeye rolls, strip rolls and whole tenderloin to cut your own filet mignon! We also offer beef bundles of different combinations at a fixed price if you aren't quite sure what you want or just want a combination for one great price. We offer bundles as one-time purchases or you can subscribe and receive an automatic shipment from 2 to 12 times a year!
Don't forget our beef jerky! We offer great strips of quality beef to tear off a piece and enjoy. Or if you like beef sticks or summer sausage it is available in various flavors. All of our Jerky is made from the same quality beef as our steaks. No cutting corners on our ranch!
LOCALLY RAISED PORK
A&M Panhandle Beef has partnered with a local farm to source our pork. The pork is naturally home raised in the panhandle sunshine! The farm grinds its own feed and adds natural supplements to ensure the pigs get all their dietary needs. All the feed is antibiotic and hormone free.
Our pork primarily comes from a specific breed of pig, thus ensuring the highest quality pork for our customers. This particular breed also has smaller bones, therefore the meat-to-bone ratio is much higher. Our pork marbles very similar to beef making it extremely tender and flavorful.
